Leo identified a gap in the market for truly exceptional eyewear that speaks to visionaries without ostentation. Each frame embodies the fusion of German precision and Japanese aesthetic zen principles to create limited-edition eyewear that stands for quality, rarity, and timeless design. Creating tomorrow’s classics for your most present self. When creating DAIZO, it was very important to create something different and something with purpose. We are conscious that the world is so overstimulated by design that there is no need for more. We asked ourselves; how can we move beyond aesthetics and create something with reverence that feels meaningful, not just in terms of its engineering, but in terms of how it makes us feel? Each piece of DAIZO eyewear is handmade in Japan with a balanced equilibrium of form and function. It takes 8-12 weeks, and over 250 steps to make one pair. We want to create for the DAIZO wearer a moment to stop; to appreciate the weight, the hand feel, each bespoke designed and crafted component.
